Since being born backwards on Friday the 13th, working as a public accountant at Deloitte & Touche, and living on two different continents through a good portion of her adult life, Britt Harris delights in choosing the unconventional path. As an actor, musician and content creator, Britt’s love of adventure has only sparked more curiosity of the world through stories we share with each other. A fiercely passionate artist, Britt’s work has been featured and praised in media outlets such as The Huffington Post, Buzzfeed, Broadway World, Vice's NOISEY, Stage Raw, Popload, Rolling Stone Brazil, MTV, and Amy Poehler’s Smart Girls.
As an actor, Britt shines as smart, funny, and vulnerable characters, and often ones that question authority. Her dream jobs include playing on an ensemble based comedy series such as The Good Place or on a transformative, genre-defying show such as Dead to Me. Currently, Britt is most often cast as the ethereal lover or the smart, likable ingénue.
With a refined, intimate performance and amazing screen presence, Britt demonstrates an uncanny ability to keep the audience close in Steven Richter’s film, "Birds of Neptune", for which she was awarded the Arizona International Film Fest Special Jury Award for Best Performance.
Britt grew up in the Pacific Northwest and currently resides in both Los Angeles and São Paulo where writes and produces comedy shorts with sketch duo Two Evil Actors and sings, songwrites, and tours with Brazilian band “NavesHarris. Britt is currently in development of her first solo record, releasing in late 2021.
Britt also serves as Managing Director of the Los Angeles based theatre company, Door Number 3. DN3 produced its inaugural show, Philip Ridley's "Radiant Vermin", to rave reviews and was honored with two Ovation Nominations for Best Acting Ensemble and Best Sound Design, as well as a Stage Raw Top 10 recommended show in Los Angeles.
Britt is represented by Laina Cohn with Cohn/Torgan Management, Joe Florance with Circle of 10 Talent (Theatrical) Shelly Kolsrud with Q Talent (Commercial / Print) in Los Angeles. Britt is a proud member of SAG/AFTRA and is an Equity Membership Candidate.
